'HELPING HAND'

Further exploring the themes of healthcare and medicine, Helping Hand is a sculptural installation comprised of clinical nitrile gloves suspended in a frame. The frame is covered in torn pieces of patient information leaflets from medications and the shape of the internal structure is loosely based on the shape of an anatomical heart. As time passes, the gloves slowly deflate, which is intended to be indicative of how the pressures of life can cause a strain on ones ability to maintain a faultless facade.
